5ZIGEN was founded in Japan in February 1987 as a wholesaler of automotive parts before launching it’s own line of sports mufflers and other performance parts. The company, which takes its name from the Japanese phrase for “fifth dimension,” expanded into manufacturing a wide range of aftermarket parts, particularly focusing on wheels and exhaust systems. 5ZIGEN has a significant history in motorsport, competing in and winning races across various Japanese and international series.
